Baked Chicken Creole and Asparagus

This recipe is super easy

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of low sodium chicken broth
  • 4 x 6 oz chicken breast
  • 2-3 bundles of asparagus
  • homemade creole seasoning
  • minced garlic
  • 1 onion

Directions:

  1. Make creole seasoning below
  2. Preheat oven 450 degrees
  3. In a baking dish pour 1/2 cup of chicken broth
  4. Place asparagus into the dish on top of the chicken broth
  5. Spread 2- 3 Tbsp of minced garlic over the asparagus
  6. Season asparagus and garlic with creole seasoning
  7. Season 4 x 6 oz chicken breast on both sides with creole seasoning (use as much seasoning as desired)
  8. Add slice of onion on top of each
  9. Bake (uncovered) at 450 degrees for 30 min – 40 min of chicken breast are thicker

  • 2 tablespoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon white pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 5 tablespoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoons sea salt
